IN SILICO STUDY OF JAVA WOOD (Lannea coromadelica) AS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY IN TNF-? AND COX-2 MEDIATO

Description:
Java wood (Lannea coromandelica) is a plant that is widely used empirically by people in South Sulawesi as a traditional medicine because it has pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammatory which is a normal protective response to various physiological processes in the body as well as having biological effects that can work on molecules target. Inflammation is a normal protective response to tissue injury caused by physical trauma, noxious chemicals, or microbiological agents. The purpose of this study was to find out which chemical compounds in the Lannea coromandelica have the potential as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting TNF-? and COX-2 receptors. This research method is molecular docking method with Autodock, Lipinski rules of five, and ADMET Prediction. Results of this study, the compound 3-hydroxy-4',5,7-trimethoxyflavanone against COX-2 and the morin test compound against TNF-? have potential as anti-inflammatories with lower ability compared to natural ligand to binding the active site on receptors
